Archaeology museums

The Museum, housed in the old church of St. Anthony Abbot, preserves and displays artefacts found in excavations carried out at Orte and within the municipal area by the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Southern Etruria. It is divided into three sections: Etruscan (from the late sixth to early third century BC), Roman (from mid-Republican to Late Empire period) and High Middle Ages (from the sixth to the eleventh century).
